Celtic vs Aberdeen Preview
Match Result and Total Goals Over/Under - Celtic and Over (3.5)
Celtic were second best against Hibernian in midweek and the Hoops will be determined to end a three-match run without a win when they host Aberdeen on Saturday.
The Scottish Premiership champions remain 13 points clear at the top of the table but their recent form is concerning ahead of the impending Scottish Cup final.
Aberdeen are full of confidence ahead of this weekend’s game, having just secured third place after a 3-0 victory over St Mirren earlier in the week.
The Dons are relatively injury free ahead of the trip to Celtic Park and punters can expect the visitors to have a real go as they look to subject more misery on the home side.
Celtic will want to put on a show for the home fans and it would be foolish to write them off ahead of Saturday’s fixture – Ange Postecoglou will be demanding an improved effort.
Football betting markets have Celtic as favourites but there is little to play for and instead it may be wise to opt for a home win and over 3.5 goals in this encounter.
Fingers crossed both teams head into this one with a ‘nothing to lose’ mindset and we could be treated to one of the games of the season.

Celtic Club History
There is no bigger or more successful football club than Celtic when it comes to Scotland. Even arch rivals Rangers have to settle for second best in that department.
The Bhoys first lifted the Scottish title in 1892 and they have gone on to win over 50 championships throughout their illustrious history.
According to the history books, Celtic Football Club was founded in 1887 at a meeting in St. Mary’s Church hall in the Calton district of Glasgow.

It’s fair to say the club has come a long way since those humble beginnings but they’ve never forgotten their roots.
In 1892, the club moved to Celtic Park and it has been their home ever since. An incredible arena to host football, Parkhead is always packed to the rafters and there is a hostile environment for away teams – particularly on European evenings.
It will come as no surprise to hear that Celtic, the powerhouse of Scottish football for over a century, have never been relegated and it is hard to envision the Bhoys ever dropping out of the top flight.
One of only five clubs around the world to win over 100 professional titles, Celtic are steeped in rich history and fans will be hoping that their success continues for many years to come.

Celtic Competitions This Season
Celtic started the 2022-23 season competing in the Scottish Premiership, Scottish League Cup, Scottish Cup and the Champions League.
The Celtic Park faithful will be expecting their side to retain the Scottish Premiership title once again, especially as arch rivals Rangers have failed to inspire confidence in the early stages of the season.
Unfortunately, the Hoops crashed out of Europe after finishing bottom of their Champions League group having picked up just two points from group games against Real Madrid, RB Leipzig and Shakhtar Donetsk.

The Scottish Cup is another domestic competition that has been kind to Celtic over the years, with the Hoops ranking as the most successful team in the tournament with 40 titles. Could we see Celtic lift the trophy again in 2022/23?
