Borussia Dortmund vs Union Berlin
Full Time Result - Borussia Dortmund
Bundesliga betting favourites Borussia Dortmund enter this match off the back of a Der Klassiker loss and DFB-Pokal elimination.
Union Berlin also fell from the cup in midweek, but they are just two points behind their Saturday afternoon hosts.
Dortmund have an exceptional record at home this term. Union, too, have been in good form, with Dortmund being the only side to pick up more points since the turn of the year.
While the table makes it look like there’s little to choose between these sides, Dortmund are clearly the superior team.
Their expected goal difference is much stronger, and they are immense at Signal Idunka Park. Take the hosts to win at 3/5.

Borussia Dortmund Club History
A true juggernaut of Bundesliga betting, Dortmund have a proud, if at times turbulent, history.
Bayern Munich are the only team to better their tally of five titles in the Bundesliga era. Bayern, too, are the only club with more than 13 top two finishes over that period.
It is a similar story in the DFB-Pokal, albeit with Werder Bremen also bettering Dortmund’s tally of cup triumphs. Eintracht Frankfurt and rivals Schalke are tied with Dortmund on five DFB-Pokal wins.
In 1996-97, Dortmund became just the second German team to win the European Cup or Champions League. They appeared in a second final in 2012-13, losing to Bayern in heart-breaking fashion.
Founded way back in 1909, Dortmund rose to relevance in the postwar years, including back-to-back national titles in the Oberliga West in the 1950s.

When the Bundesliga was founded in 1963, the club was one of 16 to compete in the debut campaign. A first DFB-Pokal win came in 1965, but financial problems blighted Dortmund through the 1970s and 1980s.
Four seasons were spent outside the topflight between 1972 and 1975.
The club had its first period of dominance in the 1990s, winning consecutive Bundesliga titles and the Champions League.
After going public at the start of the 21st century, the club again fell on tricky financial times, with poor money management and on-pitch performances on the wane.
A near-miss with relegation in 2007 was a defining moment in the club’s history, however. Just a year later, Jurgen Klopp was appointed as manager, bringing another spell of glory for Die Schwarzgelben.

Their reward for those victories is a Round of 16 clash with Bochum in early February – Dortmund are aiming to win the trophy for a fourth time since 2012.
In the Champions League, they also progressed to the last 16 by placing second in a group with Manchester City, Sevilla and Copenhagen. There was only one defeat in the section for the Bundesliga giants. Next up, it’s Chelsea.
Their league season kicked off with a 1-0 win over Bayer Leverkusen back in August. Dortmund struggled for a consistency before the World Cup, losing their final two matches.
