Horse Betting Tips For Sunday

Steve Mullington with his best racing tips, with a NAP, a NB and a Longshot running at Saint-Cloud and the Curragh on Sunday...

2.55 Saint-Cloud – Iresine (NAP)

J-P Gauvin’s Iresine looks all set to land Sunday’s Group 1 Grand Prix de Saint-Cloud in the French capital.

The seven-year-old was last seen comfortably winning the Listed Prix Bedel at Lyon Parilly, bringing his number of career victories up to 12 from 19 starts. That’s some record and the Manduro-gelding is well worth his place in this line-up today.

Last year’s Prix Ganay scorer will be ridden again by Marie Velon and she can deliver a high profile success for lady riders.

Danger: Feed The Flame

4.05 Curragh – Los Angeles (NB)

Punters will be hoping Los Angeles can make up ground with Ambiente Friendly as the pair meet again in the Irish Derby at the Curragh.

The duo met in the Derby at Epsom earlier this month, with neither able to quite land a punch on the winner City Of Troy.

Ambiente Friendly was a two-and-three-quarter-length runner-up for James on that day, with Los Angeles beaten a further three and a quarter lengths in third.

Jockey Ryan Moore says the track will suit Los Angeles and he can turn around the form with the Fanshawe contender.

Danger: Ambiente Friendly

5.15 Curragh – Kayhana (E/W Longshot)

Given the form of the Aga Khan owned horses around Europe at the moment, it wouldn’t surprise me to see one of them do extremely well in a handicap.

Harzand-filly Kayhana has been running with credit in all of her races thus far and she was unlucky to just get touched off here over a mile last time.

This drop down to seven furlongs looks just the ticket and can she can run a big race under Chris Hayes.

Danger: Ojw Legacy
