Tyson Fury lost his unbeaten record to Oleksandr Usyk in May 2024 but the Gypsy King will have a shot at redemption in the rematch on 21st December 2024.
Usyk became the heavyweight division’s first undisputed champion since the legendary Lennox Lewis in 2000 but the Ukrainian won’t be taking his opponent lightly ahead of the much anticipated rematch in Saudi Arabia.
Unfortunately for Usyk, he was forced to vacate the IBF heavyweight world title due to his contractual commitments for the Fury rematch and Daniel Dubois is the new owner of that belt after defeating Anthony Joshua in September 2024.
However, the main focus in the heavyweight boxing division remains on Usyk v Fury 2 and we’ve got the latest news and fight night information for you ahead of December’s bout.
When Is The Fight?
Fury v Usyk 2 will take place on Saturday 21st December, with the former looking to get revenge after losing his undefeated record to the Ukrainian fighter earlier this year.
The rematch will be held at Kingdom Arena in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia and millions of boxing fans are expected to tune in to watch what could be a fight of the year contender.
Ring walk times and the full undercard are yet to be announced, but previous fights held in Saudi Arabia have seen the main event start at around 10.30pm.
How Can I Watch Fury v Usyk 2?
Broadcast details for the rematch will be announced in due course but it is highly likely that TNT Sports Box Office will own the rights to the fight.
However, Riyadh Season could make the bout available on DAZN and Sky Sports Box Office as well, which was what happened with Anthony Joshua vs Daniel Dubois.
In any case, the cost of the pay-per-view fight is likely to be around the £20 mark.

Fury vs Usyk II: What Has Been Said?
Oleksandr Usyk’s manager Alex Krassyuk has already hinted at a potential trilogy bout if Fury gets the better of the Ukrainian in December.
Speaking to TalkSPORT, he said: "Why not? Boxing has had this in the past. If the people want to see this for a third time or a fourth time, it may well happen.
"Boxing is all about the desire of the fans, and Turki Alalshikh is the man that is currently making their dreams come true."
Meanwhile, Fury continues to state that he felt he won the fight in May and event went as far as comparing the Ukrainian to a ‘local amateur boxer’.
"I've watched the fight back lots and still got the same answer - I thought I won. Usyk knows he didn't beat me. It was actually a lot easier than I thought it'd be.
"My problem was I probably had too much fun. It was too easy. It was like I was in there with a local amateur boxer.
"I was enjoying it too much, messing around and paid the ultimate price in round nine.
"I've got to get him out of there because I'm not gonna get a decision. It's unfortunate because it's hard enough to win a fight just by winning it, never mind knowing you've got to knock someone out.
"I'm confident and looking forward to the challenge. I hear he's got a broken jaw and a broken eye socket, so get yourself well and I'll see you in December."
